Passport applications can be picked up at the Berryville Courthouse, but to apply for the passport you must appear at the Berryville Courthouse. Please ensure you have the following supporting documentation and materials:

Applying for a U.S. Passport Book

Along with your completed passport application you will need the following:

  • An original or a state certified copy of your birth certificate or naturalization certificate.
  • Proof of identity (i.e. driver's license, etc.) *If providing an out-of-state Driver's License a secondary I.D. is required.
  • Two Passport Photos: In Berryville these photos can be obtained at Wal-Mart in the 1 hour Photo Lab, just tell them you need "Passport Photos".
  • Passport Fees: please see Travel.State.Gov for the most current rate. Please remember the fee must be paid as a check or money order, because it will be sent in the mail with your passport application. The fee is made payable to "Carroll County Clerk".

ALL REQUIREMENTS ARE MANDATED BY THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF STATE.

If you are an out of state resident then you will need to contact the state office of which you were born in.
